McDonald's way of greeting me a happy morning

it's a big wonder how a simple question can make my day brighter than it already is..

ate rach, jules and decided to eat breakfast first before we head home...so we stopped by 

McDo along Pasay Rotonda..i was the first to order so i get to choose the table. 

i have always preferred built in chairs so i went to the sides. i saw that there were only two tables left, nobody was seated but there were two cups of untouched softdrinks. i asked the two guys beside the table if the seats were taken. i sat at the chair comfortably upon knowing that it's available..i've waited for ate rachel and jules to come over..we became so engrossed in eating the pancakes and planning our saturDATE (our send off celebration for our baby grace) that we became oblivious to everyone and everything..

when we finished our food and our convo, that's when i saw (on my peripheral vision) the guy parallel to me signal to his friend..the guy opposite us get his ipad. we decided to go and when we stood, the guy with the ipad stood also and asked me if we can be friends on facebook if it's fine with me..i was somehow surprised because i never thought someone would notice me..anyway, i'm not being maarte or something, the guys look decent and nice still, they are strangers to me. i looked at ate rachel and she just smiled and shook her head. i told the guys no, but with a smile..

at the back of my mind..i asked Daddy God, if our paths will cross again and i was able to remember them, then perhaps we can be friends..i am not assuming something deeper about the man with the ipad's gesture.. it's just a nice feeling that someone wants to befriend me..

i told my ate ruth of the incident and she told me perhaps that is McDonald's way of greeting me a happy morning...

little by little, i am able to gather the self-esteem that i lost when *********** left.. 

soon, i can completely say and with conviction: "i was broken, but now i am healed."
